Function of actuator in pneumatic control valve
Pneumatic control valve is composed of two parts: pneumatic actuator and regulating mechanism. So, what role does the pneumatic actuator play in the regulating valve? Here is an introduction.
The pneumatic actuator is the pushing device of the pneumatic control valve, which can generate the corresponding thrust according to the size of the control signal, while the control mechanism generates displacement or angle according to the thrust, which can control the flow of fluid. In the automatic control system, it can receive the control signal output by the regulator to make the opening of the pneumatic control valve change correspondingly, so as to achieve the purpose of regulating the flow.
The pneumatic actuator is an indispensable part of the control system of the pneumatic control valve. Although it can be used in relatively harsh environments, it is also relatively weak in the control system. The reason is that the actuator is in direct contact with the medium, which requires it to have strong corrosion resistance, high viscosity and easy crystallization, and can withstand high temperature and pressure.
