What should be paid attention to when cleaning the pneumatic butterfly valve?
1. If the valve is cleaned, the solvent used must not conflict with the parts to be cleaned and will not corrode. If it is a special electric butterfly valve for gas, it can be cleaned with gasoline. Other parts can usually be cleaned with reclaimed water. When cleaning, please thoroughly clean the remaining dust, oil stain and other accessories. If clean water cannot be used, alcohol and other cleaning agents can be used to clean without damaging the valve body and parts. After cleaning, wait for the detergent to evaporate completely before assembly.
2. If the packing has slight leakage during use, the valve stem nut can be slightly tightened until the leakage stops, and no further tightening is allowed.
3. Long term storage in the open air will cause the valve body and parts to rust and cannot be used normally. The electric butterfly valve shall be protected from rain, moisture and moisture-proof during storage, and the flange cover shall be tightly covered. Valves stored for more than 12 months shall be retested during use to ensure stable performance.
