In addition to the traditional manual strength calculation method, the Ansys finite element method is also used for stress analysis, sealing analysis and seismic analysis to ensure that the strength and internal requirements of the pneumatic butterfly valve can meet the requirements of the AP1000 unit.
In order to ensure the performance of the AP1000 main steam pneumatic butterfly valve, the finite element analysis model was first established. Under the set pressure and working temperature, the dynamic performance analysis of the pneumatic butterfly valve is carried out by simulating the actual working conditions, including the pressure field and temperature field analysis in the exhaust process. The velocity field analysis under the full open state, the opening height analysis of the pneumatic butterfly valve and the verification of the discharge capacity were also carried out to ensure that the dynamic performance of the pneumatic butterfly valve meets the requirements of the AP1000 unit.   。
