Power consumption of dn100 pneumatic flange type soft seal butterfly valve According to different process equipment, pneumatic or electric actuators can be selected to form pneumatic ball valves and electric ball valves respectively. Pneumatic ball valves must be equipped with valve positioners to achieve proportional adjustment, and electric ball valves must be equipped with electronic electric actuators or servo amplifiers to achieve proportional adjustment.
Tips on pneumatic ball valve actuator:
Pneumatic ball valve actuator has its special requirements, that is, it must be able to limit the torque (axial force) and rotation angle. When the pneumatic device specification is determined, its control torque is also determined. Generally, the motor will not overload when it operates within a predetermined time. However, overload may be caused in the following cases.
1. The power supply voltage is low, and the required torque cannot be obtained, so that the motor stops rotating. It is that the torque limiting mechanism is wrongly adjusted so that it is greater than the stop torque, resulting in continuous excessive torque and stopping the motor. As the pneumatic mechanism is complex, it should not be disassembled by itself in case of failure to prevent accidents. Under no circumstances shall pneumatic ball valves be knocked or put together.
2. The air operated ball valve is used intermittently, and the heat accumulation generated exceeds the allowable temperature rise of the pneumatic motor. For some reason, the circuit of the torque limiting mechanism breaks down, resulting in excessive torque. It is because the operating environment temperature is too high, which relatively reduces the thermal capacity of the motor.
3. The ambient temperature of pneumatic valve actuator shall be controlled within - 25 ℃ - 70 ℃. Explosion proof pneumatic ball valve shall be selected under special circumstances. To prevent unstable current, environmental corrosion, flammable and explosive places, special media, long time no maintenance, etc.
