1. The damping elements shall be symmetrically arranged according to the central axis of the pump unit. The plane layout of the rubber damping pad can be arranged clockwise or counterclockwise.
2. When six supporting points are used for the vibration damping elements of the unit, four of them are arranged at the four corners of the inertia block or the section steel frame, and the other two should be set on the long side line, and their positions should be adjusted so that the compression deformation of the vibration damping elements is as different as possible.
3. When rubber shock pad or damping spring shock absorber is installed for vibration reduction of horizontal pump unit, under normal circumstances, the rubber shock pad and damping spring shock absorber need not be bonded or fixed with the air, or with the inert block or steel frame.
4. When rubber shock absorber is used for vibration reduction installation of vertical water pump unit, it is better to set steel frame under the base of water pump unit and adopt anchoring installation; The section steel base and rubber shock absorber shall be fixed with bolts (with spring washers). Anchor bolts are set in the air or floor, and the rubber shock absorber is fixed in the air or floor after passing the anchor bolts.
5. The edge line of the rubber damping pad shall not exceed the edge line of the inert block; The bearing area of the section steel frame shall not be less than that of the top of the damping element.
6. The rubber damping pad is arranged in a single layer. If the frequency ratio cannot meet the request, multi-layer series arrangement can be adopted, but the number of damping pads should not be more than five layers. The model, number, area and rubber hardness of each layer of rubber vibration isolation pads set in series shall be intact and different.
7. The pad and steel plate shall be bonded with adhesive. The plane size of galvanized steel plate shall be 10mm larger than each end of rubber damping pad. Rubber damping pads bonded on the upper and lower layers of galvanized steel plate shall be staggered.
8. Before construction and installation, timely inspection shall be carried out. During installation, the static shrinkage deformation of damping elements shall not exceed the maximum allowable value.
9. When installing the water pump unit, the supporting air of the installed water pump unit shall be flat and have sufficient bearing ability.
10. The vibration damping elements of the unit shall avoid contact with acids, alkalis, organic solvents and other substances.

Precautions for non-metallic contraction joint device
1. Compensator with flow direction request shall be stopped according to the request of medium flow direction arrow.
2. The pipeline of the device compensator, non-metallic contraction joint and expansion joint must be properly guided and fixed to make the compensator work, so the setting of the guide and fixed support must be strictly in accordance with the relevant technical materials of the design department. Please refer to "Corrugated Compensator Device" for setting guidelines of guide and fixed supports.
3. Before the device, the corrugated pipe and foreign matters in the pipe shall be cleaned to ensure the normal movement of the corrugated pipe.
4. Bellows for compensators, non-metallic contraction joints and expansion joints are formed with thin-walled stainless steel plates. Therefore, during transportation, lifting and welding, care should be taken not to damage the bellows due to knocking, scratching, arc striking, welding spatter and other reasons.
5. The devices of compensator, non-metallic contraction joint and expansion joint shall be stopped according to the pipeline construction drawing and the compensator device specification.
6. In order to keep the bellows in good working condition, the deformation of the compensator, including axial, transverse and change, cannot be used to adjust the position error of the pipe system.
