Rubber shock absorber and spring shock absorber are two different shock absorbers, and they are quite different, but their role is to reduce vibration. When choosing shock absorbers, many people do not know whether to buy rubber shock absorber or spring shock absorber. In fact, first of all, we should understand the difference between the two to know their detailed use.
Characteristics of rubber shock absorber:
1. Rubber has high elasticity and viscoelasticity;
2. Compared with steel, rubber has a large elastic deformation and a small elastic modulus;
3. The impact stiffness of rubber is greater than the dynamic stiffness, and the dynamic stiffness is greater than the static stiffness, which is conducive to reducing the impact deformation and dynamic deformation;
4. The stress-strain curve is an elliptical hysteresis line, and its area is equal to the vibration energy (damping) converted into heat in each vibration cycle, which can be adjusted through formula design;
5. Rubber is non retrenchment data (Poisson's ratio is 0.5);

What must be done for metal compensator to be qualified
Everything is good or bad, and the products we consume must pass strict inspection before leaving the factory. Only qualified products can leave the factory. So, what conditions should we have before we can leave the factory?
1. Materials of other structural parts must have material certificates.
2. The materials of compensator elements and barrel joints must be provided with material certificates, and they shall be re inspected as qualified according to relevant specifications.
3. The longitudinal welds of components must be 100% X-ray flaw detection, which is acceptable at Level I. The longitudinal welds of cylinder section must be 100% X-ray flaw detection, which is acceptable at Level II.
4. The circumferential weld between element and cylinder section must pass dye penetrant inspection and kerosene leakage inspection.
5. After the whole assembly of elements and cylinder sections is completed, the air tightness and strength tests must be stopped according to the specifications.
6. The surface (inside and outside) of the element shall be free of scratches or welding spatters larger than the negative deflection of the plate.
7. The overall dimensions shall meet the requirements of drawings and relevant specifications.
