What tests are required for qualified stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valves?
The stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve consumed by our factory has the characteristics of softness, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, tensile strength, etc. In order to achieve such excellent quality, we must have strict consumption process control, and at the same time, we must stop strict performance testing to check the quality. The following Haizhizhou introduces the strict performance tests that must be carried out before the stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve leaves the factory. 1. Withstand voltage test
Pressure test of stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve, also known as strength test, belongs to safety performance index test. The test pressure is 1.5 times of the nominal pressure. The pressure medium used for the test is pure water, and its chloride ion content should not exceed 25ppm. The withstand voltage test shall be stopped for each product. The manual or pneumatic pressure test pump is used for pressurization, and the pressure observation can usually use a 1.5 level or above pressure gauge with 1.5-4 times of the test pressure air path, or a test instrument with the same effect. During the test, place the stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve test piece straight, install a plug with an exhaust valve at one end, and connect the other end with the outlet pipe of the pressure test pump. Inject water into the pipe, exhaust the air, close the exhaust valve, and slowly increase it to the regular test pressure value. After holding the pressure for 5min, check the sample for leakage, parts damage and other abnormal failure modes. The qualified product request does not allow abnormal failure modes such as leakage signs or parts damage. 2. Air tightness test
The air tightness inspection of stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve is also a safety index inspection, and every product that leaves the factory is requested to be inspected. The air tightness inspection shall be stopped under the nominal condition. The qualified products shall not have air leakage. The air tightness inspection can be stopped before the pressure test is qualified. Dry and clean air or nitrogen or other maintenance gases are used as the experimental medium in the experiment. Compression unit, air pressure attack installation, cylinder or cylinder group can be used for pressurized installation. The barometer above 1.5 level or the pressure testing instrument with the same measuring accuracy is usually used for the pressure observation, and the complete set of inspection equipment is composed of water tank. During the experiment, one end of the stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valve sample is equipped with a plug, and the other end is connected with the pressurized air outlet. Gas with a pressure equal to the nominal pressure is introduced. The test piece is immersed in the water tank to remove the bubbles adsorbed on the mesh sleeve. After the air pressure is stable, hold the pressure for 10 minutes to check whether the test piece has air leakage. Nowadays, stainless steel pneumatic butterfly valves are usually used as signal lines for various equipment, wire and cable transmission, optical fiber maintenance, etc., which is closely related to people's work and life. If there is a problem with the output and quality, it will bring some losses. Therefore, strict performance testing is necessary and must be strictly implemented. Once product defects are found, they should be handled immediately, and should not be lucky.
