Rubber flexible joint is commonly known as flexible electric butterfly valve. Its products are widely used in water, electricity, chemical industry, and ship mooring systems. Its main performance is high pressure resistance, good elasticity (axial and transverse angular displacement), noise reduction, light weight, vibration reduction, easy installation, flexible use, easy replacement and maintenance, and it is acid resistant, alkali resistant, oil resistant, and other characteristics. Pay attention to the following different requirements when using rubber flexible joints.
1. The appropriate rubber flexible joint model must be selected according to the working pressure, connection mode, medium and compensation amount of the pipeline, and the number shall be selected according to the noise reduction displacement requirements.
2. When the pipeline generates instantaneous pressure and is greater than the working pressure, the joint with one gear higher than the working pressure shall be selected. (For example, when the instantaneous pressure of pipeline startup is>1.0MPa, the connector with the working pressure of 1.6MPa should be selected. When the instantaneous pressure is>1.6MPa, the connector with the working pressure of 2.5MPa should be selected.).
3. When the pipeline medium is acid-base, oil, high temperature and other special materials, the joint with a gear higher than the working pressure of the pipeline shall be selected. 4. The flange connecting the rubber flexible joint shall be a valve flange or a flange conforming to GB/T9115.1 (RF).
5. The normal applicable medium for flexible rubber joints is ordinary water with a temperature of 0-60 ℃. In case of special medium such as oil, acid and alkali, high temperature and other corrosive and hard conditions, the corresponding special resistant material rubber flexible joints shall be selected, which shall not be used blindly or universally.
6. When flexible rubber flexible joint is used at the inlet and outlet of water pump, it shall be located at the side near the water pump, and a metal reducing joint shall be installed between it and the water pump, and it shall be installed at the large diameter of reducing diameter.
7. When the pipe displacement is equal to or greater than the maximum compensation amount of the joint, the number of joints shall be increased to parallel the displacement amount. It is strictly prohibited to adjust the out of tolerance of the pipe, so that the joint is in the state of extreme deflection displacement and deviation, and the out of tolerance (expansion, displacement, deflection, etc.) is not allowed.
8. For high-rise water supply or suspended water supply, the pipeline shall be fixed on the hanger, bracket or anchor bracket, and the joint shall not bear the weight and axial force of the pipeline itself, otherwise the joint shall be equipped with anti pulling device (the bearing force must be greater than the axial force of the pipeline).
9. When installing the rubber flexible joint, the screw of the bolt shall extend to the outside of the joint, and the bolts on each flange end face shall be tightened repeatedly and evenly by diagonal pressure to prevent pressure deviation. The screw connector shall be tightened evenly with a standard wrench. Do not use a force rod to force the union to slip wires, slip edges and fracture. And it shall be checked regularly to avoid loosening and causing disc falling or water seepage.
10. After the rubber flexible joint is subjected to pressure for the first time (such as installation and pressure test) or before it is used again after being stopped for a long time, the bolt shall be re pressurized and tightened before it is put into operation. 11. When the rubber flexible connection is installed on the ground, in the air and vertically, the actual working axial displacement pressure of the rubber flexible connection shall be less than the supporting force of the pipeline, otherwise, the anti pulling device shall be installed to prevent pulling off under working pressure.
12. When using or storing rubber flexible joints, avoid high temperature, ozone, oil and acid-base environment. The pipeline used outdoors or facing the sun and wind shall be provided with a sunshade, and it is strictly prohibited to expose to the sun, rain or wind. The joint surface shall not be painted or wrapped with insulation materials. Due to aging of rubber products, timely inspection and replacement shall be carried out.
13. Keep away from heat source and ozone area, and prohibit strong radiation light. Exposure and use of media that do not meet the requirements of this product.
