What methods can be used to disassemble the electric butterfly valve used in automobiles
In the previous article, we introduced that there are also electric butterfly valves in cars. Maybe the first automobile product we saw is tires, but there are also electric butterfly valves! Some people have problems with the electric butterfly valve. What should we do if we dismantle it? Remove the car tire, and loosen the car hub nut with the accompanying tool "pipe head". The nut is still on the bolt and will not be removed. After supporting the front wheel of the car, remove the hub nut. Note that if the car is supported first and then the nut is loosened, the nut will not be removed because the wheel can rotate easily.
Dismantle the electric butterfly valve:
① After removing the tire, we can see that there are many nuts and bolts installed on the electric butterfly valve. First, remove the fixing nuts of the brake oil pipe
② The next step is to remove the two bolts at the lower end of the electric butterfly valve. Use a tooth opener or socket wrench to cover the outer hexagon head of the bolt with one end, and cover the nut with the other end. These two bolts require a large amount of force, so it is easy to remove them with an afterburner sleeve when operated by a single person.
③ Remove the fixing nuts connecting the upper part of the electric butterfly valve with the lower stabilizer bar (lower stabilizer bar ball head).
④ Turn over the head cover of the car and remove the three fixing nuts on the top of the electric butterfly valve tower. Here, you can use a tooth opener and a socket wrench. It is no problem as long as it is suitable. This nut is just for positioning. The outside diameter of the nut is usually only 13-14mm
⑤ Remove the electric butterfly valve from the front suspension. At this time, we can check the wear condition of the ball head of the equalizer bar by the way. Under normal conditions, the ball head has no clearance, and although it has some damping when rotating in all directions, it is sensitive and does not jam
⑥ Use the special tool for tightening the electric butterfly valve butterfly valve to tighten and tighten the valve butterfly valve. When the valve butterfly valve was tightened in place and the dust boot was loosened, we saw that the cushion block ring on the telescopic tappet had been completely damaged and scattered.
⑦ When disassembling the upper seat of the valve butterfly valve, it was found that the upper seat of the valve butterfly valve was constantly rotating. At this time, we can use copper wires or iron wires to bind the valve butterfly valve together, so that the fixed nuts at the end of the telescopic tappet of the electric butterfly valve can be easily removed.
⑧ After disassembling the upper bearing end cover of the electric butterfly valve, carefully check the wear and smoothness of the bearing, and apply smooth grease or replace it if necessary. When the electric butterfly valve was disassembled, the damage condition of the electric butterfly valve could be further checked, which proved once again that the telescopic tappet of the electric butterfly valve did not have normal elasticity.
