Precautions for initial operation When the electric butterfly valve is operated at the beginning, it must pass the air or water leakage test. Some media may remain on the contact surface of the valve during the test. If these media react with the working media, attention must be paid. That is to say, during the initial operation, the pipeline must be completely cleaned in the fully open state, so as not to contaminate the sealing surface to prevent damage to the sealing surface. As a reminder, the valve shall not be opened or closed during flushing. 　　

Precautions for installation: 1. Before installation, it is necessary to refer to the nameplate mark on the valve to check whether the valve meets its own requirements. 2. Dirt formed during transportation and storage shall be removed before installation. 3. Due to the impact of transportation or other processes, it is necessary to check whether the bolts and nuts at all parts are loose or fall off before installation. If any, they should be corrected and repaired. 4. The installation position of the butterfly valve should be placed to facilitate maintenance, while leaving space for adjustment and operation (for the pneumatic butterfly valve just leaving the factory, the dust cover is provided on both sides of the valve, and it should be removed during installation.) 5. During installation of the valve, the dirt in the pipeline must be carefully removed, so that the flow direction of the fluid is the same as that of the pipeline. (Because there are residual welding slag and oil stain in the pipeline, which will affect the running in of the butterfly plate and valve seat of the pneumatic butterfly valve, resulting in insecure sealing and safety problems.)
