Shipping and Installation Considerations for Expansion Valves
The use of Yinlong expansion joints can significantly reduce or avoid thermal growth, overload, metal fatigue, noise, excessive installation time and early maintenance problems.
1. Thin wall bellows
Since the bellows are made of thin-walled stainless steel plates, special care must be taken to avoid possible damage to the bellows during transportation and installation.

Fixed bolt "If the installation of the expansion joint has not been completed, do not remove the fixed bolt. Remember to remove the fixing bolts after the installation of expansion joints is completed and the piping system is ready for operation. If the fixing bolts are not removed, the expansion joint will not work.
3. Flow direction
Turn and install the expansion joint according to the flow direction mark indicated on the valve. Do not install the valve in the wrong flow direction.
4. Installation direction
Since the movement of the expansion valve with hinge or universal joint is limited to certain directions under specific design, the installation direction of the pin must be carefully observed to ensure that the valve can move and function as expected. The installation shall be carried out in strict accordance with the drawings of expansion joints.
5. Be careful when welding on site
1. Since the corrugated pipe wall is very thin, do not generate arc on the corrugated pipe to start electric arc welding.
2. Protect the valve from sparks during welding and grinding by covering the valve with sacks, cloth, etc.
