1. Before installation, it is necessary to carefully check whether the mark and certificate of conformity of the valve meet the use requirements, and then clean it. Electric butterfly valves not installed and used shall be stored in a dry room. Valves that have been kept for a long time should be cleaned regularly, dried and coated with antirust oil. Blind plates shall be used at both ends of the valve to protect the flange sealing surface.
2. Install according to the medium flow direction; Horizontal installation is preferred.
3. The connecting bolts between the electric butterfly valve and the pipeline shall be tightened several times in the opposite direction during installation, and it is not allowed to tighten one piece at a time to prevent leakage at the flange connection caused by uneven stress.
4. When installing the electric butterfly valve, the butterfly plate should be in the closed position to prevent sundries from entering the valve chamber and damaging the sealing surface. When the user wants to conduct pressure test, it is necessary to conduct pressure test after both ends are clamped with flanges.
5. When the valve is connected to the pipeline, it is required to use butt welding steel flange or special flange for electric butterfly valve on the pipeline. If flat welded steel flange is used, the inner hole of the flange must be as large as the inner hole of the gasket to ensure the effective sealing surface of the gasket.
6. When the electric butterfly valve leaves the factory, the opening and closing travel of the control mechanism has been adjusted properly. In order to prevent the wrong direction when the power is connected, the user should manually reach the first third of the closing position before the first power is connected. Check whether the direction of the indicator panel is consistent with the opening direction of the valve.
7. When the valve is in use, if any fault is found, it shall be stopped immediately.
