In all cases, the regulating valve shall be strictly insulated. Piping and valves of process equipment in the low temperature zone of the plant are often in the cold box. In this case, the regulating valve has an extra long upper valve cover, which can be installed in a horizontal position. The upper valve cover with larger diameter is made of stainless steel and protrudes from the wall of the cold box. In this way, the valve internals including valve core and valve seat can be removed without involving the valve body, and the valve body can be welded in the system to reduce the leakage of the cold box itself. In general, cryogenic control valves have more stringent requirements on cleanliness during processing, especially during assembly.

By observing the electric ball valve, it is not difficult to find that its simple structure is basically composed of several important parts, its production cost is not high, and the device has small size, small driving torque and flexible operation. It is very suitable to use electric ball valve in the working environment of large, medium diameter, medium and low pressure. When the ball valve is fully open, except for the thickness of the butterfly plate, the medium flows through the valve body basically without obstacles, so the pressure drop across the valve seat is small. Obviously, it has good flow control capability.
