Compared with metal spring pneumatic butterfly valve, rubber pneumatic butterfly valve has the following main defects:
1. Its natural frequency is difficult to reach below 5Hz;
2. Its ability to resist environmental pollution and temperature change is weak, and its service life is short.
Characteristics of rubber pneumatic butterfly valve:
The reason why rubber shock pad is widely used is that it has durable high elasticity, good vibration isolation, shock isolation and sound insulation performance; The appearance and pressing are convenient, and the shape and size can be freely selected to meet the requirements of stiffness and strength; It has damping performance and can absorb mechanical energy, especially the absorption of high-frequency vibration energy; Because the rubber material can be firmly bonded to the metal surface, it is not only easy to manufacture the device, but also can apply multi-layer superposition to reduce the stiffness, change the frequency range, and the price is low.
Of course, like the rubber pneumatic butterfly valve, the rubber shock pad also has its weaknesses. For example, it is vulnerable to temperature, oil, ozone, sunlight and chemical solvent corrosion, resulting in performance changes, aging and relaxation. Therefore, the service life is generally about 8 years, but without above corrosion, the service life can exceed 10 years.
The performance of the rubber shock pad is not only related to the shape and formula of the rubber pad, but also related to the hardness of the rubber. It has high hardness, high stiffness, large bearing capacity, low hardness, low stiffness, and small bearing capacity. The hardness of some rubber damping pads can be divided into 40 ℃, 60 ℃ and 90 ℃. Be careful when selecting them.
