Function of spring damper device on water pump
In fact, no matter where the spring shock absorber is installed, it plays the role of vibration reduction and sound insulation, but what kind of shock absorber should be selected in detail to achieve the best effect of vibration reduction, which depends on which mechanical equipment is installed, and even the model of mechanical equipment should be considered.
1. Selection of water pump spring damper style:
Self standing spring shock absorber is commonly used, which has the advantages of simple structure and low cost; The spring is exposed, which is convenient to check the spring status at any time. The spring that needs to be replaced should be disposed in advance to prevent the sudden sedimentation of the water pump, equipment damage and pipeline breakage when the spring is excessively corroded and damaged.
2. Spring selection:
The spring preferred by ordinary shock absorber manufacturers shall meet the following requirements: the spring diameter shall not be less than 0.8 times of its height under rated load; The spring must have a certain additional stroke, and the vortex flowmeter shall be at least equal to 50% of the rated static deflection; The degree and rigidity of the spring shall be at least 100% of the rigidity to ensure the stability of the shock absorber.
3. Selection of deflection of spring damper:
Generally, the rated deflection of the spring damper provided by the damper manufacturer is generally 25MM, which can be applied to the vibration isolation of the pump at 650 rpm. When the rotating speed is lower than 650, it is recommended to use a spring damper with a deflection below 40.
It can be said that different pump models have different requirements for the spring damper, so that the working vibration frequency of the pump is also related. Choosing the corresponding model can really achieve the damping effect required by the pump.

As for the straight pipe section, the secondary fixed support is usually used to divide the long pipe section between two fixed supports into several pipe section units, so that only one corrugated pipe contraction joint and a tetrafluoroethylene compensator are set between each pipe section to ensure that the corrugated pipe contraction joint can work normally.
3. Guide anchor
The guide bracket is set in the pipeline to ensure that the bellows contraction joint moves in a regular direction and avoid the effect of pipeline instability. The design strength of ordinary guide bracket is considered as 10% - 15% of the medium pressure thrust in the pipeline. On the pipe section with only axial displacement, the guide support only allows axial displacement and limits displacement in other directions. This support is called ordinary guide support. For the pipe section with lateral displacement and deflection, in addition to axial displacement, appropriate additional margin shall be reserved in the transverse direction to allow a certain range of lateral displacement and deflection. This guide support is called plane guide support.
4. Guide bracket spacing
In the place where only axial displacement is required, the spacing of the guide bracket can be set as follows: ordinary introduction, make the contraction joint close to a fixed bracket, and the spacing between the first guide bracket and the end face of the bellows of the contraction joint shall not exceed 4 times of the pipe diameter. This arrangement can not only guide the displacement correctly, but also support the contraction ends properly. The distance between the second guide bracket and the first guide bracket shall not exceed 14 times of the pipe diameter.
