The original automobile suspension system used four (blade) butterfly valves to prop up the body from the wheels. Later, people did not want the body to vibrate constantly after encountering a small bump on the road, so electric butterfly valves (valve actuator, valve actuator) were introduced.

The valve here means not only to reduce the amplitude of vibration, but also to absorb the energy of vibration, reduce the frequency of body vibration, and keep the wheels in contact with the ground. Therefore, the electric butterfly valve is also called the shock absorber.
The basic parameter of the electric butterfly valve is the damping value, that is, how much resistance can be generated during compression (or rebound). The higher the value, the greater the resistance. However, the damping value does not determine how much the car will pitch when passing a curve (this is the work of the butterfly valve), it only controls the rate of pitch generation (rate, how long it takes to complete the pitch). Since the electric butterfly valve will be heated during the process of the valve (from the energy converted from the butterfly valve), high temperature will be generated after intense movement, which will make the valve fluid in the electric butterfly valve fail (Shock fade), just like the brake oil fails due to overheating. Therefore, some high-end or competitive electric butterfly valves (such as Bago nitrogen valves AGshoncks, Sachs, etc.) will bring an additional nitrogen cylinder to control the temperature of the valve liquid (more valve liquid can be contained in the valve barrel, and the heat capacity is larger).
The original electric butterfly valves used in ordinary vehicles are comfortable and can cope with the adjustment of various roads, so they are mostly equipped with electric butterfly valves with lower damping and weaker butterfly valves to maintain driving comfort. Obviously, refitting the electric butterfly valve and hard butterfly valve with large damping value will improve the weight transfer of the car, enhance the firmness and sensitivity when driving, and greatly improve the overall handling at the cost of losing the riding comfort of the original car and sacrificing the durability of other parts on the car.
