Chinese psychologists believe that in addition to human factors, economic and technical feasibility must also be taken into account to control the noise environment. For adequate noise control, it is necessary to consider the whole system composed of noise sources, transmission channels and receivers. Noise control measures can be targeted at the above three departments or any of them. The contents of noise control include:
① Control the noise source. ③ Reduce noise at the human ear. For the noise protection of the recipient or the recipient organ, if no measures can be taken on the sound source and transmission route, or the acoustic measures taken still cannot achieve the expected effect, it is necessary to take protective measures on the recipient or the recipient organ. For example, workers exposed to long-term occupational noise can wear ear plugs, ear muffs or helmets and other ear protectors.
