The nut is still on the bolt and will not be removed. After supporting the front wheel of the car, remove the hub nut. Note that if the car is supported first and then the nut is loosened, the nut will not be removed because the wheel can rotate easily.
Dismantle the pneumatic ball valve:
① After removing the tire, we can see that there are many nuts and bolts on the pneumatic ball valve. First, remove the fixing nuts of the brake oil pipe
② The next step is to remove the two bolts at the lower end of the pneumatic ball valve, and use a tooth opener or socket wrench to cover the outer hexagon head of the bolt with one end and the nut with the other end. These two bolts require a large amount of force, so it is easy to remove them with an afterburner sleeve when operated by a single person.
③ Remove the fixing nuts connecting the upper part of the pneumatic ball valve with the lower stabilizer bar (lower stabilizer bar ball head).
④ Turn over the head cover of the car and remove the three fixing nuts on the top of the pneumatic ball valve tower. Here, you can use a tooth opener and a socket wrench. It is no problem as long as it is suitable. This nut is just for positioning. The outside diameter of the nut is usually only 13-14mm
⑤ Remove the pneumatic ball valve from the front suspension. At this time, we can check the wear condition of the ball head of the equalizer bar by the way. Under normal conditions, the ball head has no clearance, and although it has some damping when rotating in all directions, it is sensitive and does not jam
⑥ Use the special tool for pneumatic ball valve and ball valve tightening to tighten and tighten the valve and ball valve. When the valve and ball valve are tightened in place and the dust boot is loosened, we can see that the cushion block ring on the telescopic tappet was once completely damaged and scattered.
⑦ When disassembling the upper seat of the valve ball valve, it was found that the upper ball valve seat was constantly rotating. At this time, we can use copper wires or iron wires to bind the valve ball valve together, so that we can easily remove the fixed nuts at the end of the telescopic tappet of the pneumatic ball valve.
⑧ After disassembling the upper bearing end cover of the pneumatic ball valve, carefully check the wear and smoothness of the bearing, and apply smooth grease or replace it if necessary. When disassembling the pneumatic ball valve, the damage condition of the pneumatic ball valve can be further checked, which proves once again that the telescopic tappet of the pneumatic ball valve did not have normal elasticity.
