It is very important to carry out scientific management and maintenance for the natural gas pneumatic ball valve during the construction period. Proper equipment management and scientific maintenance during the construction period can not only ensure safety, but also greatly reduce the cost during the construction and operation management period. What should be done for the maintenance and repair of natural gas pneumatic ball valves? What should be paid attention to? The following aspects: ① Use correct methods to load and unload natural gas valves to avoid mechanical damage to the valves. When lifting the valve, the lifting belt cannot be tied to the valve stem or actuator for lifting, otherwise the valve stem will be bent, the valve diameter seal will fail and the gearbox will be damaged; ② Before leaving the factory, simple blind plates shall be installed at both ends of the valve to prevent water, sand and other impurities from entering the valve chamber during transportation and on the site, which may cause corrosion and damage to the seal; ③ At the construction site, the valves should be placed neatly on the sleepers, not anywhere, to avoid damage or breakage of the drain nozzles, grease injection nozzles, etc.; ④ The valve must be greased before installation. On the one hand, check whether the grease injection channel is unblocked by injecting grease, on the other hand, fill the sealing surface and rear chamber of the valve seat to prevent impurities from entering the sealing surface and rear chamber, and at the same time, reduce the damage of the valve seat caused by high welding temperature to a certain extent; ⑤ Keep the valve in the fully open position during the whole installation process; ⑥ After welding, hydrostatic test and each operation, a certain amount of grease shall be added in time; After the hydraulic test, the water in the valve chamber shall be drained in time to prevent corrosion and icing. ⑦ The natural gas pneumatic ball valve must be cast steel pneumatic ball valve or stainless steel pneumatic ball valve that can resist sulfur. The ball must be a hollow ball, not a hollow ball. The internal ball lift and valve stem shall be made of 316 stainless steel or equivalent materials.

1. The pneumatic ball valve is composed of a pneumatic actuator (single acting, double acting, AW type and GT type) and a ball valve. Compressed air enters the cylinder to drive the piston to rotate, and then drives the opening and closing of the ball valve through the connecting shaft, so as to cut off and adjust the medium. The pneumatic actuator is relatively fast and does not need workers to do it by themselves, which saves human resources and time to a large extent.
2. The pneumatic ball valve is evolved from the stop valve. It has the same 90 degree rotation lifting action, but the difference is that the cock body is a sphere with a circular through hole or channel passing through its axis. The proportion of the sphere and the passage opening should be such that when the sphere rotates 90 degrees, the inlet and outlet should be all spherical, so as to cut off the flow. This type of valve can be installed at any position in the pipeline. It can be adjusted (with locator) and used for opening and closing (optional accessories).
