However, although the butterfly valve can absorb the impact force of the road surface, when the vehicle runs on an uneven road surface, if the butterfly valve is deformed by the impact of the road surface, it will return to its original shape, and the vibration will not stop immediately. In this way, the car will be soft and unstable when driving, just like walking after drinking, which will affect the stability of the car. Therefore, the electric butterfly valve should be used in the suspension to restrain the flutter of the butterfly valve, and appropriate resistance should be applied to the up and down movement of the suspension to reduce the vibration and absorb part of the impact of the road.
Hydraulic electric butterfly valves are widely used in automobile suspension systems. Its structure is that the piston rod with piston is inserted into the shock absorber cylinder, and the cylinder is filled with oil. There is an orifice on the piston. When the electric butterfly valve is compressed and telescoped, the piston rod will move back and forth in the shock absorber cylinder, and the oil in the electric butterfly valve will flow from the inner cavity to another cavity through the orifice repeatedly, thus generating a certain damping force.
