The research on electric butterfly valves for commercial vehicles started late in China. The products of domestic electric butterfly valve manufacturers are relatively simple, narrow in scope of application, poor in quality, and are imported. Therefore, most domestic commercial vehicle manufacturers use electric butterfly valves to import.
At present, many electric butterfly valve manufacturers in China are absorbed by the improved electric butterfly valve technology. It is appropriate to transport electric butterfly valves for commercial vehicles and develop products with independent intellectual property rights in China. Some of the current electric butterfly valve products are close to or meet the quality standards of international similar products. The electric butterfly valve has excellent elasticity and can significantly improve the comfort of the vehicle suspension system. Therefore, the research on electric butterfly valve at home and abroad is very important at this stage.
With the rapid development of computer technology and the continuous maturity of finite element calculation theory, the research and development of electric butterfly valves at home and abroad has turned to the channel of combining computer virtual design with experiment. Facts have proved that the virtual manufacturing design method can quickly and clearly establish a predetermined scheme on the computer, and simulate various end conditions in a short time without taking corresponding risks, so as to provide detailed and feasible technical schemes for design departments and production units. The rigidity of the electric butterfly valve is tested through experiments, and the rigidity and performance of the electric butterfly valve are analyzed by using the virtual software. By comparing the results of finite element analysis with the experimental results, the stiffness and performance of the electric butterfly valve are studied.
