Dongfeng Automobile Research Institute has designed the hybrid air suspension. China National Heavy Duty Truck Corporation installed the floating axle air suspension on the Steyr vehicle. Chongqing Highway Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications has studied the guiding mechanism of the bus non vertical air suspension. Beijing University of Reading carried out bench test on the electric butterfly valve of Hino RC420 bus, and analyzed the static and dynamic characteristics of the electric butterfly valve and the volume of the air chamber. Ding Liangxu from Chongqing Highway Research Institute of the Ministry of Communications carried out computer simulation on the performance of the air suspension and fitted the performance curve of the electric butterfly valve. Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways has done a lot of research on SYS series electric butterfly valves, given the general calculation formula for the stiffness of various electric butterfly valves, and analyzed the influence of various design parameters on the suspension vibration of electric butterfly valves. Yuan Liangming, et al. of the Academy of Railway Sciences, applied the theories of aerodynamics and engineering thermodynamics to derive the mathematical model for the vertical dynamic performance analysis of the electric butterfly valve. Li Fu of Southwest Jiaotong University and others established the physical model of electric butterfly valve by using the theory of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics, and proposed the parameter calculation method of electric butterfly valve. The engineering college of Nanjing Agricultural University has conducted a lot of research on the dynamic performance of electric butterfly valves with additional air chambers.
