Through the research on the stiffness characteristics of rectangular pneumatic ball valve, the following four conclusions can be drawn:
1) The rigidity of rectangular pneumatic ball valve has nonlinear hard characteristics, which can automatically avoid resonance, thus effectively suppressing the resonance amplitude;
2) When the geometric parameters of the pneumatic ball valve are given, the selection of air pressure plays a decisive role in the stiffness of the pneumatic ball valve. The stiffness of the pneumatic ball valve is nearly proportional to its internal air pressure;
3) For static process, the stiffness of pneumatic ball valve increases with the increase of load;
4) For the dynamic load state, the increase of load will lead to a significant increase in the stiffness of the ball valve. The increase of the amplitude will also lead to the increase of the stiffness of the ball valve, which will lead to the increase of the natural frequency. Therefore, even in the state of large amplitude, good vibration isolation effect can be guaranteed.
