What problems should we pay attention to when using the electric ball valve in the water pipeline? The water pipeline is something we often encounter, and the electric ball valve is the equipment connected with the pipeline, so as to protect the normal operation of the pipeline. Electric ball valves also play an important role in urban gas pipelines. When selecting electric ball valves, we should pay attention to the following three issues:
1. Material problems. Many gas companies use steel electric ball valves, which generally have the advantages of corrosion resistance, strong compression resistance and conflict resistance. It is stipulated in the Code for Design of Urban Gas Engineering that stainless steel electric ball valves are allowed to be used, and different electric ball valves can be used according to the site environment and factors.
2. Settlement of high-rise buildings. Generally speaking, the settlement speed of high-rise buildings is the largest within 5 years after completion, and then gradually decreases. The gas pipeline is generally installed at the early stage of construction completion, but it will cause building settlement at the later stage of construction. Due to the heavy weight of high-rise buildings, the loose sleeve limit electric ball valve with good safety performance and reliable quality must be selected when selecting the electric ball valve.
3. Additional ram problem. High rise buildings are tall, gas pipelines are long, and the density of natural gas and air is different, so additional pressure head will be generated in pipelines. It will cause large fluctuations when some users use gas. It is beyond the normal fluctuation range, affecting the normal use of the user's burner and causing the gas not to burn completely. Therefore, controlling and eliminating the influence of additional pressure head is an important factor that should be considered when selecting electric ball valve. During the overall pressure test of the pipeline, isolation valves in some sections were deliberately closed, which led to the shortening of the pressure test pipeline and qualified capacity, but lost the authenticity of the overall qualification. The supervisor shall carefully check and mark to prevent fraud.
