Reasonable design of the support in the pipeline system is an important link to ensure the normal operation of pneumatic valves, air duct pneumatic valves and non-metallic pneumatic valves. Different types of pneumatic valves have different requirements for the support of the pipeline system. The guide support is set in the pipeline to ensure the displacement of the pneumatic valve along the specified direction and prevent the effect of pipeline instability. The design strength of the general guide support is considered as 10% - 15% of the medium pressure thrust in the pipeline. On the pipe section with only axial displacement, the guide support only allows axial displacement and limits displacement in other directions. This support is called general guide support. For the pipe section with transverse displacement and deflection, in addition to axial displacement, appropriate additional allowance shall be reserved in the transverse direction to allow a certain range of transverse displacement and deflection. This guide support is called plane guide support.
Main fixed support, which is installed on the pipe system with one or several unconstrained bellows expansion joints, must bear the force and moment exerted on it by each pipe section connected to it. For example, the pressure thrust (blind plate force) generated by the medium pressure in the pipeline, the force and torque required for the bellows expansion joint to produce the rated displacement, the friction force generated by the adjustable guide support and the directional guide support, as well as the weight of pipeline and medium, fluid impact force, etc.
