5. The installation of universal valves is a key issue that should be paid attention to. The quality of installation of universal valves is directly related to the operation and performance. Pay attention to the following problems during installation:
(1) Before installation, the dust accumulated during storage of the valve must be carefully removed and kept clean during installation. Because dust and impurities will damage the valve seat and internals. In order to protect the cleaning, the cover plate can usually be installed at the end of the open flange that is not welded on that day.
(2) During installation, the arrow on the valve body shall be consistent with the flow direction of the medium.
(3) They are precision components. If they are subjected to the stress of pipeline deformation, they will break the normal work. Therefore, the flange and pipeline shall be installed vertically and accurately to avoid deformation of the pipeline. In addition, the pipeline shall be properly supported to prevent it from bending and deformation under the weight of the valve.
(4) Special care must be taken when welding with pipes. If insufficient attention is paid to welding with the pipeline and the stress is not eliminated, deformation will occur. During welding, the welding slag must be strictly prevented from splashing into the valve. The existence of welding slag will damage the performance. If the spatter directly splashes on the valve core, it will directly affect the action, or damage the valve core and valve seat.
(5) During pressure test and purging, pipes shall be dismantled and connected with corresponding straight pipe sections to prevent welding slag, gate valve iron chipping and other sundries from getting stuck between valve core and valve seat. The end of the removed opening flange shall be bound firmly with plastic cloth.
6. After installation, the linkage test must be carried out before the device is started.
