Product features

Pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve is a kind of midline butterfly valve with good corrosion resistance and sealing performance. It is generally divided into flange or wafer type connection, and can be used in normal temperature and pressure occasions with corrosive media and high leakage requirements. The pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve adopts a sealing structure. The sealing materials include rubber, polytetrafluoroethylene, etc., and the leakage can reach zero. Due to the limitation of structural characteristics, pneumatic soft seal butterfly valves are not suitable for industries such as high temperature, high pressure and wear resistance, but only for switching off and regulating flow in normal temperature environment, low pressure, medium pressure and other places.  
Advantages of pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve:
 
1. The structure is simple, the flow resistance coefficient is small, the flow characteristics tend to be straight, and there will be no debris left.
2. The connection between the butterfly plate and the valve rod adopts a pin free structure, which overcomes the possible internal leakage point.
3. It is divided into pneumatic wafer type soft seal butterfly valve and pneumatic flange soft seal butterfly valve to meet different pipeline requirements.

Difference between pneumatic soft seal butterfly valve and pneumatic hard seal butterfly valve:
 
1. Soft sealing butterfly valves are mostly of medium line type, while hard sealing butterfly valves are mostly of single eccentric, double eccentric and triple eccentric structure.
2. Soft seal is used in normal temperature environment. Hard seal can be used in low temperature, normal temperature, high temperature and other environments.
3. Soft seal is used for low pressure - normal pressure, and hard seal can also be used for medium and high pressure.
4. The sealing performance of soft sealing and tri eccentric hard sealing butterfly valves is relatively good, and tri eccentric butterfly valves can maintain good sealing under high pressure and high temperature environment.
5. The soft seal butterfly valve has the advantages of good sealing performance and the disadvantages of easy aging, wear and short service life.
6. Hard sealing butterfly valve has a long service life, but its sealing performance is relatively worse than that of soft sealing.
