Product features

Pneumatic regulating butterfly valve is an adjustable pneumatic butterfly valve that uses air source drive to adjust the opening of disc plate, so as to control the medium flow. It is mainly composed of butterfly valve, pneumatic actuator, valve positioner and other accessories. The pneumatic regulating butterfly valve regulates the opening of the valve through 0.4-0.7MPa inlet air after the 4-20MA signal is input by the valve positioner in the automation system, so as to realize the proportional accurate adjustment of the process parameters such as the medium flow, pressure, temperature and liquid level in the pipeline. It is the best device to regulate the flow and cut off the fluid. The pneumatic regulating butterfly valve can select different seals (soft seal and hard seal) according to the working conditions to meet the different use requirements. It is widely used in chemical industry, environmental protection, air, water, gas, steam and pipelines containing corrosive media.

Principle of pneumatic regulating butterfly valve:
 
Pneumatic butterfly valve actuator is divided into single action and double action principles, that is, common pneumatic on-off butterfly valve and pneumatic regulating butterfly valve. The single action is the air close spring return type and the air open spring automatic return type. The single action is applicable to the places requiring normally open or normally closed. The double action is air to open and air to close. Both opening and closing require air source pressure, while the regulating pneumatic butterfly valve should use the double action mode
