Product features

The pneumatic flange butterfly valve is composed of a flanged butterfly valve and a pneumatic actuator. The flanges at both ends of the butterfly valve body are connected to the pipe flanges, which has the advantage of relatively reliable sealing performance. Pneumatic flange butterfly valve can be divided into elastic seal and metal seal according to the sealing form. The elastic sealing materials include NBR and fluororubber. The hard sealing butterfly valve is a multi-level metal hard seal, which has the advantages of elastic seal. It has excellent sealing performance regardless of low temperature. Compared with the clip type butterfly valve, the pneumatic flange butterfly valve has a higher pressure resistance. Generally, the flange type butterfly valve is used under high pressure conditions.

Advantages and applications of pneumatic flange butterfly valve:
 
1. The metal hard seal butterfly valve can ensure high sealing performance in all temperature ranges from ultra-low temperature to ultra-high temperature.
2. Pneumatic flange butterfly valve actuator can be divided into single action and double action. Single action has two forms: normally open and normally closed, which can be reset to the initial state (open or closed) in case of emergency.
3. The valve positioner can be assembled to adjust the parameters of the pipeline medium proportionally to achieve automatic control.
4. The fluid resistance is small. When the pneumatic flange butterfly valve with medium and large diameters is fully opened, the flow area is large, and the opening and closing are fast and labor-saving.
5. It is mainly applicable to the water pipeline and corrosive medium of petroleum, metallurgy, chemical industry, electric power, petroleum, urban heating system, as the regulating and intercepting equipment.

Operating principle of pneumatic flange butterfly valve:
 
The pneumatic flange butterfly valve enters the actuator through compressed air, and drives the actuator to drive the butterfly plate to rotate 90 degrees, which is used as pipeline switch and flow regulation. The so-called on-off mode control is only used to open and close the valve. The regulating control is to assemble the valve positioner in the pneumatic actuator, input the corresponding signal, and adjust the butterfly valve disc at any angle from 0 to 90 degrees, so as to control the medium flow, pressure, temperature and other parameters. Pneumatic flange butterfly valve has two sealing types: elastic seal and metal seal. For elastic sealing butterfly valve, the sealing ring can be embedded on the valve body or attached to the butterfly plate, which has excellent sealing performance. The disadvantage is that the defect limited by temperature is not suitable for high temperature places. The butterfly valve with metal seal can adapt to higher working temperature, and generally has longer service life than the butterfly valve with elastic seal, but it is difficult to achieve complete sealing.
